EDUCATION AND LICENSING
Gina graduated with a BA in Psychology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA and earned her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Western Seminary Seattle (currently known as The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology) in 2001. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington.
EXPERIENCE AND THERAPEUTIC STYLE
In private practice since 2002, Gina works with adolescents, adults, and groups. Her style is conversational and relational. Gina works from a Biblical foundation through psychodynamic theory and practice. Attachment, Trauma, Internal Family Systems, Object Relations and Existential Theories are among the orientations that she draws upon.
From 2001 to 2019, Gina worked at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology (previously known as Western Seminary Seattle, then Mars Hill Graduate School) in various capacities, including Practicum Director, Clinical Faculty in the Practicum Department, and Assistant Instructor. She taught counseling training to masters degree students, supervised practicum instructors, and directed the practicum program.
Currently, she co-teaches the course Evil, Abuse and Spiritual Warfare, with Dr. Dan Allender and Paul Steinke, MA.
Gina is a Clinical Supervisor for Licensed Mental Health Associates in the state of WA.
Gina and her husband Byron are co-owners of 3rd Street Therapies.

Her most joyous activities are spending time with Byron, and their four grown children, spouses, and adorable grandchildren (they make her laugh). She loves worshiping in song, playing guitar, gardening, ballet, and kayaking with her husband (and Orca whales!).
