EDUCATION AND LICENSING

In 2016, I graduated from Columbia College with a degree in Counseling Psychology and continued on to complete my Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in 2020. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.

EXPERIENCE AND THERAPEUTIC STYLE

I have spent the last 25 years in a wide range of settings working with children, adolescents, adults, and families regarding issues of depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, and other related issues. My areas of expertise include relational problems, sexual abuse issues, trauma/PTSD, dissociative disorders, and attachment issues. I am a holistic, trauma-informed, relational therapist and I believe a person’s heart is to be in a relationship where they can be fully seen and known. Everyone has a story that needs to be heard. Everyone is unique and therefore every therapeutic relationship is different. Our work together will be to find the best fit where the uniqueness of the individual can be seen. Our work will be grounded in Attachment theory, Narrative therapy, Trauma-Focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, and other mindfulness and grounding techniques.
