Education and Licensing
Debbie graduated from the University of Washington in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Dance before obtaining a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in theological studies at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. She is licensed in Washington State.
Experience and Therapeutic Style
Since graduating Debbie has become a student of C.I.M.B.S. (complex integration of multibrain systems) technique focusing on neurological study and somatic awareness while retaining a holistic approach that considers your story, the relational style developed with your primary care givers, and an intrapsychic focus which is to pay careful attention to your internal processes. She has worked as a facilitator with The Allender Center for Abuse and Trauma including Story Workshops, Lay Leader Certificate Program, and an Intimate Mystery Workshop. Debbie has also worked as a group facilitator for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse as well as volunteered on a sexual assault crisis line.
Debbie offers various movement and dance classes at 3rd Street Therapies.
